10-Stag Derby Rages On

After only six local eliminations and 46 more to go, the P30M 2009 Bakbakan 10-Stag National Derby has already registered more than 200 entries and is right on track to reach the 2,000 participants needed to meet the target and is now highly capable of breaking the 2,173 competitors recorded last year.

Hosted by the National Federation of Gamefowl Breeders and co-presented by Thunderbird Ganador Max – for maximum fighting ability, Bakbakan is the biggest sabong event of the year with a whopping P30M as guaranteed cash prize.

Tomorrow, October 24, the Batangueños collide at the Lipa Games Cockpit (Batangas Breeders Club), while the Ilocanos outclass each other at the San Nicolas Cockpit (United Ilocandia Gamefowl Breeders Ass’n).

Meanwhile, the national eliminations in which any member of all NFGB-affiliated association may compete with their Bakbakan-banded stags, are set in Makati Coliseum on Oct. 26 and on Oct. 30; in Pasay Cockpit on Nov. 3; then back in Makati Col. on Nov. 9 & 12.

Matapos lamang ang 6 na local eliminations at may 46 pa na gagawin, ang P30M 2009 Bakbakan 10-Stag National Derby ay nakapagrehistro na ng mahigit sa 200 entries at nasa tamang direksiyon upang maabot ang 2,000 kalahok na tinutumbok nito. Base ditto malaki na ang tsansa na malampasan ang 2,173 na bilang ng kalahok noong nakaraang taon.

Handog ng National Federation of Gamefowl Breeders at ng Thunderbird Ganador Max – for maximum fighting ability, ang Bakbakan ang pinakamalaking pasabong ng 2009 na may nakalulang garantisadong premyo na 30 milyong piso.

Bukas, maghaharap ang mga Batangueño sa Lipa Games Cockpit (Batangas Breeders Club) at ang mga Ilokano naman sa San Nicolas Cockpit (United Ilocandia Gamefowl Breeders Ass’n)

Samantala, ang national eliminations, kung saan maaring lumaban ang sinuman miyembro ng anuman NFGB-affiliated association at maglaban ng kanilang Bakbakan-banded stags, ay nakatakda sa Makati Coliseum sa Lunes, Okt. 26 at n Ok. 30; sa Pasay Cockpit naman sa Nob. 3; at muling babalik sa Makati sa Col. on Nob. 9 & 12.
